Ansgarskyrkan – a short presentation

The congregation of Ansgarkyrkan is part of Equmeniakyrkan and has been active in Lidingö since 1888.

Ansgarskyrkan, which has been our home since 1996, was built close to the shopping centre to be a meeting place for everyone in Lidingö. It is a place to meet Jesus Christ as well as to socialise with other people.

We want to be an open church where everyone feels welcome, and where everyone is invited to meet God during services, in solitary prayer or in conversation with others. The church is open daily for prayer or just a simple cup of coffee in our café in the entrance hall.

All programs offered in Ansgarskyrkan are in Swedish, but our staff, as well as many of our church members are able to speak English and are willing to help and guide you in any way they can.

You can find our program in the entrance hall of the church or on the internet,

We are looking forward to seeing you in Ansgarskyrkan!
